New consulting engineering services
Bosch Ulwazi has expanded its training and skills development capabilities to now include consulting engineering and project management services.
This emerging enterprise – which is part of the Bosch Holdings group of multi-disciplinary engineering companies – provides consulting engineering services to clients throughout the country, in both the private and public sectors.
“The company – with a Level 1 BBBEE rating and a majority black ownership profile – is currently working on a project for the SA National Road Agency (SANRAL) in KwaZulu-Natal, providing professional services that include administration and construction monitoring of the SANRAL periodic maintenance project, for the National Route N2, between Izingolweni and Murchison,” says Parellin Naidoo, Divisional Manager, Bosch Ulwazi. “This project entails the localised repair and pre-treatment of the existing road surface and the reseal of approximately 24 km of asphalt road surfacing.”
The Bosch Ulwazi team has also undertaken several engineering projects in collaboration with the Bosch Projects (Gqeberha) Port Elizabeth office. These Eastern Cape projects include refurbishments of various water and wastewater treatment works, as well as an extension, refurbishment and construction of various buildings at the Nelson Mandela University.
Bosch Ulwazi also provides solutions for engineer development and technical training, as well as enterprise and socio-economic development. Through Bosch Ulwazi’s Engineer in Training programme, the Group strives to develop black-owned businesses that operate in the engineering sector.
